Liquid sun now sips the ocean
and the clouds frame the moon.
Yes, the moon hits the stars and the wind blankets my back

Sand hard like sidewalks back home
and the water is rolling under the metallic sun,
Yes, the metallic sun is burning liquid heat through my pores,

Each footstep moves a little faster, and each breath gets quite a bit harder,
Shells in my feet and blood in the sand,
I will make it to the water

A clear family of jellyfish laid tanning and smiling,
"Life is great." They said dying.
My head stared as my feet kept running.

A lonely crab sat on a rock,
"If you see Felix tell him I love him." She said dying.
"Sure." I said confused.

Miles later a lonely crab was sitting on a rock,
"If you see Rose tell her I love her." He said dying.
"Sure." I said sadly.

Liquid sun now sips the ocean
and the clouds frame the moon.
Yes, the moon hits the stars and the wind blankets my back.

An owl walked across my feet,
"You'll never get there if you walk."
"I know." I said frustrated.

A dove flew around my head,
"If you have any questions look in me." She said lovingly.
"This trip…" my breath shaking "for life…?" I said as she flew away.

Miles later the dove flew around my head and said,
"…Life in death."
